Nextfour has a legitimate interest in processing personal data in customer communications and in conjunction with marketing, product and customer analyses. We can thereby improve our product

We also send our existing customers some customer communications (e.g., information about changes to the service, market reviews, newsletters and feedback surveys).
How does Nextfour protect personal data, and what are the risks associated with the processing of such?
We use the necessary technical and administrative methods of data security that are appropriate and in compliance with the best practices. These include, for instance, the use of firewalls, strong encryption technologies and secure IT areas, access control of the premises, the limited granting of access rights, the instruction and training of personnel involved in the processing of personal data and the careful selection of subcontractors. Our subcontractors are committed to compliance with Nextfour data protection principles and guidelines in addition to the applicable legislation.
The processing of personal data is permitted for work-based reasons only. Access rights to systems containing personal data are personal, and we monitor the use of these rights. Nextfour employees who process personal data are bound by a separate duty of secrecy in addition to the statutory confidentiality agreement. Personal data no longer needed is deleted in a data secure manner.
Despite careful protection and appropriate security, the processing of information always poses a risk. If, despite our efforts, there is a security breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your privacy or other rights, we will contact you as soon as possible.
If we become aware of a security breach regarding personal data and it poses a risk to the rights or freedoms of a natural person, we will notify the Data Protection Ombudsman about the breach without undue delay.
We also recommend you keep the data security of your devices and connections up to date.
