The team behind the Q smart navigation system has joined forces with the UK boat manufacturer Vita. Both companies are relatively new players on the field: the Q system launched in 2016 while Vita’s first boat is still under development. But together they plan to take the conventional industry by storm.

Q Experience is the smart navigation device that brings together all boat’s assets into one seamless interface. This fresh new approach has already attracted plaudits, with the system being awarded the prize for Best Internet-of-Things Service in Finland alongside nominations in prestigious international competitions including the DAME and Boat Builder Awards.
Vita is the company behind the first premium electric powerboat, conceived and developed in the UK. Marrying groundbreaking propulsion technology with peerless nautical design, their flagship project will be unveiled in 2018.
Öhman teases, “Let’s just say that what we are working on now is going to be quite revolutionary. We don’t want to reveal too much yet but we have great expectations for this project and so should everyone else.”
